Calvary celebrates 30 years of ministry

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, Calvary officially celebrated 30 years in ministry. We commemorated our past, celebrated our present and looked to the future to create.  As a purpose-driven church we have five constant priorities throughout the years:
  1. Growing Warmer through Fellowship
  2. Growing Deeper through Discipleship
  3. Growing Stronger through Worship
  4. Growing Broader through Ministry
  5. Growing larger through Evangelism
During the past 30 years, Calvary has partnered with different organizations to impact our local and global community. Some of our local partners include the New York School of Urban Ministry, Anchor House, 77th Precinct council, Community Board, Borough president Office, and Toys for Tot to name a few. Some of our global partners include Rhema Home in Nairobi Kenya, World Outreach Ministries in Orissa, India and New Hope Outreach Ministry in Trinidad.

As we look to the future Calvary’s strategy is to continue to create environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, build community and impact their world.
